How long have you been in business?
Started in the industry 1984, in the hot bed of pools and spas = Southern Calif. Then moved to NW in 1990. Worked for a premier pool company as Svc. Mgr for the next 7 years until I started The Pool & Spa Medic in 1997. Been servicing the areas customers ever since as a Sole Proprietor as a Routine Maintenance, Service & Repair Company.
What is your primary product or service?
We routinely maintain swimming pools on a weekly, bi-weekly and other custom designed programs. We also provide labor to perform repair and replacement services of pool/spa equipment.
We also have as a secondary business as part of our retail establishment = A quality resale shop / Thrift Shop.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Back in 1984 a very good friend asked if I would help him with his pool & spa business, a year and half later, he sold me the business. I have been hooked ever since. Meeting and dealing with different pool & spa owners on a daily basis is such a rewarding experience. So many different aspects of life & personalities. So enjoyable. But not always : {
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I definitely do my best to provide something that seems to be disappearing on a daily business in most industry's, especially in the "Service" industry! What is that? Service!!! So many people complain that they no longer deal with "Service" Representatives, even though their name tag title says that is what they are! Not many provide service anymore. Once I realized that is what people really want, we strive to provide that. Hence our motto for the last 20 years = Our Service is a Promise!
The other very cool difference about us is - we also have a "Resale of Pre-owned items". Yes, we also have a Thrift Shop as part of our Pool/Spa Store!
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Right now we have a Home Office and Workshop and a 2nd location as our "Retail" location and base of business office in Molalla.
It is Right on Main St. Where we take care of our loyal customers who come out & enjoy a nice drive from most areas within 20-30 minutes. As of now, we are not looking to expand, but we may consider that in the future?

From Oregon City, South on 213 all the way to the Traffic Control Signal which is Hwy 211, make a left (East) then we are about 1 mile on Left.
From Silverton, North on 213 to Hwy 211 (Safeway w/McDonalds in the Park lot) Turn Right, about a mile on the Left.

We accept all major credit cards - Visa, MasterCard, Discover, & American Express. We do take both Personal & Business checks with ID and we still do accept all methods & denominations of American/USA CA$H
Which areas do you service?
We service all portions of the Portland and Surrounding Metro Areas. We no longer cross the border into Washington.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
The owner is still a hard working repair service technician and does his best to run the complete business with the assistance of his son who manages all of the maintenance and wonderful in store associate who takes care of all of our walk in & phone in customers.

M-F = 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
Sat = 11 - 4
Sun = Closed
